Common Delivery Questions
What is included in my delivery?
Each box includes all of the fresh ingredients you need to create the recipes you’ve selected. Your ingredients will arrive individually packaged for freshness and pre-portioned for easier cooking. We also send you a beautiful recipe card with step-by-step instructions so you can easily recreate our chef’s recipes at home.
Can I choose which meals are delivered to me?
Yes. If you sign up for a subscription, you can select up to 4 meals from 6 categories each week for 2 or 4 people. To select your meals, visit the My Menu page after you’ve logged in. There you’ll see five meal choices for the upcoming week. If you’d like to try the meals that are already selected, nothing more needs to be done. If you’d like to change the meal selection, uncheck the meals you don’t want, select the ones you do, click “Save Meals,” and your selections will be saved and delivered on the scheduled delivery date.
Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?
No, our meal kits are carefully packaged in refrigerated boxes or bags so all of the ingredients will remain fresh for the full delivery day.
How much does delivery cost?
For shipping addresses in Eau Claire and Altoona, shipping in our reusable, insulated bags is $2.80. For all other shipping addresses, shipping in our insulated boxes is $7.80.
Can I narrow down my delivery window?
Due to the high number of deliveries we make each week, unfortunately we can’t guarantee a specific delivery time.
Can I recycle the packaging?
Absolutely! We strive to always use eco-friendly packaging supplies that our customers can easily recycle.
How do I recycle the packaging?
Most cities now have convenient recycling services so all you have to do to recycle the leftover packaging is place them in the receptacle before they pick it up each week.
How long will my delivery stay fresh?
Your meal kits will stay fresh for the duration of the week. We create our recipes using ingredients that stay fresh long enough for you to enjoy them in the week you have received them. If we include ingredients that need to be used sooner rather than later, we suggest that you prepare them closer to the beginning of the week.
What should I do if an ingredient is missing?
Contact our Customer Service team by email as soon as possible. We’ll do everything we can to make it right.
What is not included in my delivery?
As you might have guessed, we don’t send you the cooking tools, plates, bowls, or flatware you’ll need to cook your meals at home, and we also don’t send staples we assume you already have on hand. These staples include water, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Where do you deliver?
Same-day local delivery is available within the Eau Claire area, and next-day delivery is available to other locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and parts of Iowa and the Dakotas.
When do you deliver?
We deliver our weekly meal kits to locations within the Eau Claire area by the end of the day Tuesday and to locations outside of Eau Claire by the end of the day Wednesday. If you don’t receive your meal kit, please contact our support team directly here so we can track your delivery. Please note we have no control over delivery interruptions due to inclement weather or incorrect shipping information.
How does the food stay fresh in transit?
We ship our meal kits using insulated boxes (for home deliveries) and bags (for local home or office deliveries), ice packs, and other recyclable packaging materials. In most cases, deliveries are packaged on Tuesday and will arrive at their final destinations within 1-2 days to ensure every ingredient remains fresh.
What should I do if my delivery is late?
Contact our Customer Service team here so we can attempt to locate your delivery. Most late deliveries occur due to inclement weather or incorrect shipping information, but we’ll do everything we can to ensure your delivery arrives on time.
How many recipes will I receive in my delivery?
You’ll receive the number of recipes included in your subscription when you signed up. To increase or decrease the number of recipes you receive each week, you can update the number of meal on the Subscriptions tab within your account, by cancelling your subscription and signing up for a new one, or contacting our Customer Service team here so we can do so for you.
What should I do if I lose my recipe card(s)?
If you can’t locate the recipe card you need, contact our Customer Support team here, and we’ll send you a digital copy.
